Applications are invited for a fixed part time Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at Monash Children’s Hospital
- Rare leadership role in Orthopaedics
- Be part of the new Monash Children’s Hospital
April marks one year since the opening of the Monash Children’s Hospital. In those twelve months we have provided services to 22,000 children in our paediatric and neonatal wards, plus 53,000 children treated in our emergency departments. This is an opportunity to help lead providing these services to our community. Our work stretches across three campuses; MMC Clayton, Dandenong and Casey Hospitals.
We look to you for leadership of our Paediatric Orthopaedic department. You will work closely with other senior team members to achieve our strategic and clinical services. Your experience and guidance will be respected as you consult with colleagues, as well as providing education and training. Your work will extend across direct patient care, including urgent consultation for critically ill and injured patients, enhancing our outreach services, research and clinical and workforce innovation.
Of course you will be a Fellow of the RACS or have an equivalent specialist qualification. You are well accomplished in paediatric orthopaedic elective and emergency surgery.
Help influence and improve the important Orthopaedic services we provide at Monash Health.
