Cluain Mhuire Community Mental Health Services
Cluain Mhuire is a national centre of innovation in public mental health service provision, delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of approximately 195,000 people; a regional Early Intervention Psychosis Service; and a Liaison Service to both St Columcille’s and St Michael’s Hospitals.
GENERAL ADULT CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST WITH A SPECIAL INTEREST IN LIAISON PSYCHIATRY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above post which will allow for the expansion of the liaison psychiatry provision to Transgender patients attending the Endocrinology service at St Columcille’s Hospital and patients referred from primary care and community psychiatric services for assessment of gender related issues.
The following professional qualifications and experience apply to this appointment:
- Must be included on the Specialist Division of the Register of Psychiatrists maintained by the Irish Medical Council. Must have at least 12 months of Higher Specialist Training in a recognized liaison psychiatry post. Experience of working in a Transgender service is also desirable.
