CONSULTANT OBSTETRICIAN AND GYNAECOLOGIST
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a full-time (10PAs) Consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist.
This is a new post to build on the current strengths of the department including emergency gynaecology and to help to develop the STP aims of community gynaecology. This post would suit someone looking to develop a gynaecology service that is fit for the future as part of an exciting team in Nottingham. The post involves clinical sessions at the City, QMC and treatment centre units. The post will have a variety of duties in both obstetrics and gynaecology and will be resident 1 in 16.
All Consultants are appointed as Clinical Teachers by Nottingham University.
Applicants must be registered with the GMC and be on the GMC specialist register, or be within 6 months of attaining specialist registration at the time of interview.

The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

All new employees starting work at NUH will be subject to a DBS check and liable for the cost (£47.50 for enhanced, £29.50 for standard, £30 for basic). I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if it is required (by deduction from first month’s pay).
Should I decide to withdraw from my job offer, I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of the DBS check undertaken by cheque or other agreed method.
