General Adult Community Consultant
You will provide medical leadership for the multi-disciplinary teams within the area that you are appointed. You will also have consultant responsibility for the assessment, management and care of patients within these teams and undertake the necessary clinical as well as administrative duties associated with providing excellent patient care.
We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible candidates who demonstrate leadership abilities and are committed to working in a MDT plus contributing enthusiastically to service development.
Applicants should be on the Specialist Register or be within six months of obtaining their CCT. The candidate should be suitably qualified, including eligibility for Approved Clinician status.
Working in South Essex has lots of advantages. It is an excellent area to work in with close proximity to London. The beautiful Essex countryside boasts of some of the best grammar schools in the country. For the more adventurous, Southend-on-sea offers lots of opportunities and a quick hop to Europe is easy from local airports or the Eurotunnel.
