Consultant Community Paediatricians
Working Option: Part-time/Full Time – 40 hours/10 PA’s per week
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic paediatricians to join our team, supporting the ongoing development and delivery of the integrated service for children with additional needs, delivered from three Child Development Centre Hubs within Leeds.
Central to our service philosophy and approach is placing the child and family at the centre of delivery of care and ensuring that children are seen by the most appropriate professional in a timely manner. We are currently reviewing our pathways of care to enhance this process.
The workload is busy, but the environment is one of support, as well as having a sense of enjoyment and job satisfaction. We have a strong programme of Clinical governance, Continuing Professional Development and development of medical leadership.
We are seeking to appoint three Consultants to join our team of Community Paediatricians.
Joint Paediatric Neurodisability/Neurorehabilitation Community Paediatrician. Full time (10Pas).
This exciting new post is an example of our commitment to service development and improving integration of care between the hospital and community services. The postholder will contribute to paediatric neurodisability services within the East Child Development Centre, and also to the care of Leeds children within the tertiary Neurorehabilitation service at Leeds General Infirmary within the Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust.
Two part-time Consultant Community Paediatricians (0.6Pas each) – East and South Child Development Centres.
These post holders will contribute to the Paediatric neurodisability service and also to the daytime child protection rota in the city.
All post holders will play an important role in supporting the specialist training of paediatric trainees and will contribute to the under graduate teaching programme.
