Clinical Director of Primary Care
Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum, dependent upon experience, based on up to 9 sessions per week (37.5 hours).
We are seeking an experienced GP to join our multi-disciplinary team as the Clinical Director of Primary Care.
The role will provide clinical leadership of the Clover Group Practice and its Clinicians, along with contributing as a clinical lead to the strategic work of our wider partnership. The Clinical Director will work in a clinical leadership role for Clover Group ensuring quality and safety as well as undertaking clinical sessions within the Group. We anticipate a 50:50 division of time between leadership and direct patient care. The role holder will be supported by the collaboration’s overarching Executive and Medical Directors. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop a range of skills and experience in a clinical leadership role.
The successful candidate will also have a drive to contribute to and support the primary care transformation agenda and see the strategic benefits of the partnership in delivering support both within the Clover Group and to the wider primary care community.
Clover Group Practice is a six-site practice caring for 26,500 patients, serving some of the City’s most vulnerable and deprived groups including a specific practice for asylum seekers and trafficked women. We pride ourselves on strong community links and collaborative working with other health and social care agencies and voluntary sector organisations. In 2017 we were rated Good by CQC in all areas across all sites.
Clover group practices are delivered under the strategic partnership of Primary Care Sheffield and Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust. Our partnership is uniquely placed to support transformational change to Sheffield’s Primary Care community through our collaborative working. Primary Care Sheffield is Sheffield’s GP federation with total coverage of all Sheffield GP practices. PCS delivers seven day extended access for the city as well as a range of services to support General Practice delivery and educational support for GP. Sheffield Health and Social Care Foundation Trust is Sheffield’s Community Trust, with particular expertise in the provision of Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and substance misuse services.
The post benefits from an entitlement of 30 days leave per year plus bank holidays and a generous study leave/paid CPD allowance.
