We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience in coronary intervention to join a team of 17 cardiologists. The post holder will undertake a range of elective and emergency coronary intervention, including primary angioplasty 24/7 on a 1 in 6.5 rota. Experience in structural intervention would be of benefit as we are currently developing our structural intervention service.

Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust provides a comprehensive range of acute services from two hospital sites. It serves a population of approximately 1.2 million. With an annual budget of over £481 million and employing approximately 8,000 staff the trust is committed to the continuous development of services for the benefit of patients and to providing a comprehensive service of the highest possible quality.

Already a vibrant and dynamic city, Hull’s vision is to be one of the UK’s top ten destinations for shopping, art, sport, leisure and most importantly, living. A huge amount has already been spent on creating new shopping centres, waterfront living spaces, art studios, office complexes and visitor attractions such as the Kingston Communications Stadium and The Deep – the world’s only submarium. Better still, within the next 5 years the city will have seen over £250 million in investment.

The region also boasts a diverse coastline ranging from award-winning sandy beaches to dramatic cliffs. Inland you’ll find mile upon mile of green, unspoilt countryside and woodland that are perfect for walking, cycling or horse riding. And if you like exploring, there are endless historic towns and picture postcard villages within a short driving distance from Hull. Right now, housing is plentiful, varied and affordable, too and there is a fantastic selection of high-quality schools to choose from.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Visas and Immigration department requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.

From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years.
