The successful applicant will be expected to provide a broad range of general Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and facial trauma management. Working on an island offers a unique opportunity where the case mix offers both diversity and complexity. The successful candidate will enjoy a role that is both challenging and rewarding. The on call rota is currently on a 1:2 basis, becoming a 1:3 in time with the appointment of an Associate Specialist. 24 hour on calls, (on call from home for the out of hours element). Time off in lieu is provided as remuneration for out of hours work and additional payment is made for covering a colleague when on leave.
