There are lots of good reasons to choose to come and work at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH). We are seeking to appoint a consultant cardiologist with particular expertise in Pacing, Complex Pacing (ICD/CRT/SQICD) and Heart Failure.

This post will support the ongoing development and expansion of the department to meet the needs of a sizeable local catchment population. This consultant will join 16 existing cardiologists to deliver coordinated cardiological care and play a keen part in the development and delivery of evolving heart failure service.

The on-call commitment will be 1 in 7 for non-interventional colleagues. There is no General Medicine commitment.

We have strong links and a collaborative approach with the Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, the regional centre for tertiary heart failure management and heart transplantation.

The post holder will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate MBBS students as part of the UEA School of Medicine Health Policy and Practice.
