Lancashire Care Foundation Trust is currently seeking 2 Consultant Psychiatrists, to be part of a contingent of over 100 Consultant Psychiatrists in the Trust
Community Mental Health Team, Lancaster There are also opportunities for extra remuneration related to new or existing services like perinatal, neuropsychiatry, psychotherapy, management, 7 day working and others. These optional sessions have proven to be extremely popular among existing Consultants.
Along with various community settings, LCFT boasts an award winning recently opened state of the Art in-patient unit, The Harbour in Blackpool, where this post will be based, which provides the major portion of inpatient services for the older adult and adult mental health services.

Further Information Along with the opportunity of participating in planning and steering working groups relevant to special areas of interest or general area of work, there will also be an opportunity to participate in teaching and training through supervision of Trainees. Audits, Research and participation in Leadership programmes are all exciting expectations of the roles, in order to ensure delivery of safe, high-quality services for patients.
Applicants for the above vacancies must be fully registered with the GMC; have a ‘license to practise’; hold a MRCPsych or an equivalent approved indicator of training a Certificate of completion of training and inclusion on the specialist register or within 6 months from completion of training on the interview date; have or be able to apply to have Approved Clinician Status.
