WFHP is appointing a Salaried GP at our Kidderminster Medical Centre site, working 4 – 8 sessions per week, to join our dynamic, forward-thinking, high-achieving and innovative partnership, where the team take genuine pride in making work stimulating, challenging and rewarding.

Kidderminster Medical Centre is looking for a keen and enthusiastic team player who can demonstrate commitment and flexibility with the drive to deliver a high standard of patient centric medicine whilst maximising primary care business opportunities. We are seeking a Doctor who shares our passion and who can assist the practice and the partnership to become the best it can be in a modern NHS.

WFHP was formed three years ago and now consists of six surgeries based in the beautiful Wyre Forest area. We have over 50 GPs and in excess of 200 staff looking after more than 73,000 patients. Kidderminster is the largest of the towns in the District with a population of over 55,000 and is located in the Wyre Forest District, amongst the beautiful rolling hills and ancient woodlands. Nevertheless, it has easy access to the M5 and M42 Motorways as well as only being 12 miles north of the city of Worcester and 20 miles south-west of Birmingham.

Kidderminster Medical Centre was in formed in 2016 by the merger of Forest Glade Medical Centre and Kidderminster Health Centre. We moved in to our brand new purpose-built premises with state-of-the art facilities in August 2016, located in the town centre. The dynamic team offers a range of key services to over 13,800 patients using a Dr First approach to our appointment system which works well and we also have a dedicated visiting team. We are a committed Training practice for Registrars and medical students from Birmingham University. Recent CQC report awarded us a GOOD in all areas!
