Compton Specialist Palliative Care Inpatient Unit, Wolverhampton

Permanent Contract – from June 2018

Hours – 6 PAs

This post would suit an experienced doctor who wishes to make a significant contribution to palliative care within a supportive team at a time of positive change and development

This consultant will join with the other members of the well-established medical team at Compton in providing clinical services to our patients both within our 18 bedded inpatient unit, our day centre “The Woods” and in our local community where we provide a range of services including a community clinical nurse specialist team .

We also have an active Learning and Development department and participate in the teaching of medical students .We are currently developing research activity and this post includes a leadership role in this area.

You must have full GMC registration, and have or be eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register within 6 months of the interview date. This post will be offered in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Service (England) for the new Consultant contract.
