Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist
The Trust is committed to providing high quality integrated health and social care for local people with mental health problems in South West London and more specialist mental health services for people throughout the UK.
We are looking for a consultant forensic psychiatrist to join a peer group in the forensic service based at the, Springfield Hospital. The consultant will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the care and treatment of up 40-50 community patients living in south-west London. The post holder will also provide clinical leadership to the Criminal Justice Liaison Service, and provide a forensic consultancy service to the London Borough of Wandsworth. This post is full-time, for ten Programmed Activities (PAs) per week. This position has become available due the departure of a consultant from the forensic service. Along with consultant and managerial colleagues the successful candidate will occupy a key role in the leadership and the future direction of the service.
