London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is currently seeking a substantive Consultant in General Paediatrics with an interest in Oncology and Haemoglobinopathy. The post is filling a vacancy, currently being delivered by a locum. Duties are on Northwick Park, Central Middlesex Hospital and Ealing Hospital sites. LNWUH is currently a level 1 POSCU and will be bidding for a Level 2 status when NHS England launch the tendering process. The Haemoglobinopathy service is one of the oldest and well established in the country due to the prevalence of Sickle Cell Disease in the London Borough of Brent.

Duties consist of ward attending weeks on Northwick Park Hospital site, Emergency Department/ SSPAU shifts on Northwick Park site, and general paediatric clinics on both sites.

On call is approx 1 in 11.
