Consultant Interventional Cardiologist
Applicants are invited to apply for the post of Consultant in Adult Interventional Cardiology at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. The successful applicant would be joining a busy, forward-thinking cardiology department which is continuously looking to innovate and improve services.
It began 24/7 primary PCI 20 years ago and now treats 350 patients per year for STEMI. A further 650 PCI cases for ACS/stable disease are performed on an annual basis between seven operators (including this post). This interventional consultant cardiologist post will contribute to the PPCI rota, help to develop the interventional service in general and is a cardiology-only appointment with no responsibility for general medicine.
