PICU Locum Consultant NHS Medical & Dental: Consultant

Bristol Royal Hospital for Children 

Applications are invited for a10 PA Consultant Paediatric Intensivist job to join the PICU team based at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC).

The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is an 18 bedded unit providing full intensive care services to the Southwest of England and cardiac surgical services to the Southwest and South Wales. BRHC is a designated trauma and burns centre, and has all paediatric specialties on site other than heart and liver transplantation.

The appointee will join the Critical Care Team at an exciting time and will have the opportunity to work across all critical care areas; namely, PICU, the supra-regional retrieval service (WATCh), and the specialised surgical, medical, and cardiology high dependency Units.

Applicants must have completed a minimum of two years training in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine and should either be on the Specialist Register for Paediatric Intensive Care or be a Specialist Registrar within six months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT / CESR(CP) at the time of interview. Applicants may come from a Paediatric or Anaesthetic background.
