Consultant Urological Surgeon
An opportunity has arisen within NHS Grampian for a further full time Consultant Urological Surgeon to join eight Consultants in the progressive Urology Department at the major University teaching hospital of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Applicants should have wide knowledge of and experience in all major branches of the specialty. The applicant is expected to play a role in the management of general Urology conditions and contribute to the 1:8 on-call rota. NHS Grampian have opened two new minimally invasive theatres and installed the first Da Vinci robotic system in Scotland. We are committed to developing state of the art technology within the unit. In addition to fixed duties, the post offers excellent opportunities for both teaching and research. The department would consider applications from individuals with any sub-specialty interests that complement the existing requirements of the department.
Applicants should possess FRCS Urology or equivalent.

Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
