Consultant Plastic surgeon with a Special Interest in one of the following areas:

  • Complex trauma and orthoplastic reconstruction
  • Sarcoma

You are invited for these posts of Consultants in Plastic surgery with a special interest in, complex trauma and lower limb reconstruction, sarcoma, breast reconstruction and skin oncology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, UHB NHS Foundation Trust and Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust.

You will work as one of a team of 25 Consultant plastic Surgeons, based at the Plastic surgical unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and at Heart of England trust.

You will participate fully in the plastic on-call rota and will be a key member of the plastic surgical team. The Centre for Defence Medicine is based in the hospital and is the main receiving hospital for the British military casualties from conflict areas around the world.

You must be on the GMC Specialist Register or be within 6 months of obtaining a CCT of the interview date. Previous experience/fellowship training in the required specialties is essential.
