This is a fixed term post and is based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital with additional commitments to provide cover for satellite dialysis unit. The Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust includes Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Solihull Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Birmingham Chest Clinic. The Renal Unit at BHH accommodates chronic haemodialysis patients in a purpose-built facility and is connected to a 34 bedded Renal Ward which has acute haemodialysis facilities. There are 32 hospital-based haemodialysis stations on site and a further 4 haemodialysis units established on satellite sites in the community.
