Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologists (2 posts)
We are seeking to appoint two full-time Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologists. These are new posts to account for increasing demand for musculoskeletal imaging. The successful applicants will share responsibility with eight other colleagues for the provision of all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging and intervention across Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The successful applicants will be expected to collaborate with the rest of the department to maintain and enhance a comprehensive MSK radiology service and support / develop the provision of regional sarcoma and local Oncology/ Haematology services and trauma. The appointees will also be part of a wider team of consultant radiologists providing sub-specialty and general radiological services across the Trust. We are a Level 1 Trauma Centre and have a large Oncology and spinal practice.
The appointees will have the opportunity to support the sarcoma and myeloma services to the regional cancer network, depending on experience and interests. An interest in becoming the liaison for the spinal surgery department and into supporting the development of spinal imaging services is desirable but not essential.
Practical procedural skills such as ultrasound guided biopsies and fluoroscopically guided arthrography are mandatory and other skills such as ultrasound guided joint injections, dry-needling and fluoroscopically guided facet and nerve root injections would be highly desirable.
A successful applicant would be required to be part of a dedicated MSK on call rota which has a current frequency of 1:7 although this may be subject to change.
You must hold the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologist or an equivalent qualification and must either be on the Specialist Register, or in possession of a CCT at the time of taking up the appointment.

The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
