Salaried GP for innovative Homeless Outreach post

We are seeking a 4-6 session Salaried GP in our practice which the CQC graded ‘Outstanding’.

One session will be held at a local Homeless Shelter, where you will provide Primary Care on site.

This innovative role is part of an 18 month pilot by Lewisham CCG to improve access to this sector of the local population following the imminent closure of Lewisham Walk in Centre.

You will also attend a regular MDT meeting to ensure the homeless patients you see have their physical health, mental health and social care needs met.

London School of Economics MBA students plan to work with you to audit and review the pilot in association with Lewisham CCG and Lewisham Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-regarded practice on an unusual and varied project.

The right candidate will be looking for a leadership role, will have an interest in working with marginalised communities and inner city medicine and will enjoy the prospect of working in a supportive, friendly team where high standards are the norm.

For more information about this opportunity please phone  0203 049 3615 (between 9-5pm) and ask for Dee Stenning (PM) or Dr Wessely.

Please send your CV to Dee by clicking the apply button.
