GP – Melbourne, Australia – Up to 75% billings – Stunning location
Full-time GPs required for a doctor-owned clinic in an outer eastern suburb in Melbourne.
We are looking for GPs to join a new practice opening in March. The clinic is located on the main shopping strip of this popular and trendy suburb of Melbourne. There will be in-house pathology, nursing support, allied health professionals and radiology available.
The owner is developing a purpose-built medical site which is due to open in 2019. It is minutes away from the current clinic for an easy transition for patients and staff from the existing facility.
The Yarra Valley provides doctors moving to the area wonderful access to the banks of the Yarra River and stunning mountain ranges. There are plenty of wineries around for the wine lovers, boutique shops and delicatessens for foodies in town and throughout the region.
The clinic has a catchment population of approximately 9,000 residents with only one other clinic serving the area.
For a convenient 20–30 minute commute, you can choose to reside in Croydon, Ringwood or Lilydale – all having good public and private schools, public transport access and shopping precincts.
The integration of new GPs to this practice will be unrivalled as the practice has experience supporting overseas-trained doctors making the transition to Australian general practice as they themselves made the same transition a few years ago.

What Head Medical can do for you
Arranging a position overseas is very exciting, but we know it can also be a complex and time-consuming process. We’re specialists in international medical recruitment and have helped many doctors relocate since we first started out in 2008 (you can read what people have said about working with us on our testimonials page). We know it’s important to balance career opportunities with lifestyle, so we’ll talk through your plans and get to know you to make sure we find the right role in the right location.
Once we have secured a job for you, we’ll manage the medical registration and visa application processes, and support you (and any family members) with the relocation itself.
