Applications are invited for the substantive post of Consultant in ENT with subspecialist interest in Head & Neck Surgery at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our team of four Consultants.
This is a new post offering 10 programmed activities.
The purpose of this post is to ensure that a comprehensive range of ENT services are provided to the population served by Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and to further advance the Head & Neck Cancer Service. The successful candidate should possess a broad range of skills in General ENT and suitable background in subspecialist Head & Neck Surgery. An interest in Undergraduate Teaching is desirable but not essential.
Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with the University of Buckingham, was awarded Teaching Hospital status from May 2015. This partnership will create exciting opportunities in the future for all staff in the fields of Clinical Research and Education. This new phase will include opportunities for Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching and enhanced research facilities. A teaching and research background would be highly advantageous, but not essential, when applying for this position.
Located just 50 miles north of London, Milton Keynes has excellent access to the capital whilst being centrally located for Oxford and Cambridge and having ease of access to the north. Lying in attractive countryside, Milton Keynes offers first class facilities for sport, theatre, music, shopping and dining.
