Clinical Senior Lecturer-Honorary Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry
The appointment will be on UCL Grade Clinical Senior Lecturer (Consultant). The salary range will be £78,923 - £105,652 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
This is a new post in which is it is envisaged that the post-holder will collaborate closely with colleagues to generate a programme of research in applied and translational research in general adult psychiatry. The UCL Division of Psychiatry is a growing and vibrant group of multi-disciplinary researchers that aims to address clinical problems in order to achieve benefits for patients and public health using insights from basic science. The post holder will also contribute to teaching on our innovative and successful MSc programme that attracts excellent students, as well as to teaching undergraduate psychiatry for the MBBS programme.
The clinical work will be based in the Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and will provide consultant input and clinical leadership to Somerset Villa, a new 14 bed male high dependency inpatient rehabilitation unit based in Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield, London.

We are seeking an ambitious person who, in addition to being clinically qualified in general adult psychiatry, has an international reputation or potential in general adult psychiatry research. Applicants should have a CCT accreditation in Rehabilitation Psychiatry (or equivalent endorsement from the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Rehabilitation and Social Psychiatry Faculty in place or applied for).
