In Ysbyty Gwynedd we have designed new rotations with multiple specialties to give people like you an opportunity to undertake a ‘Foundation Year 3’. Whilst these posts are non-training (no requirement to complete laborious work based assessments/ eportfolio etc) – we offer guaranteed Study Leave and a session per week to build your own career. This could be partaking in a research or IQT project, experiencing primary care or pursuing a teaching course - as well as having access to our busy postgraduate education timetable. Each post will have a designated tutor to support your career development and other needs. Come to Bangor and let our F3 rotation be the spring board for the next stage in your career

With effect from 1st April 2017 points 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 on AfC Pay Band 1 and Pay Band 2 will be adjusted to £16,523 to reflect the incorporation of the living wage £8.45 per hour.

The Health Board employs around 16,000 staff and has a budget of around £1.1 billion and is responsible for the operation of three district general hospitals (Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd near Rhyl, and Ysbyty Maelor in Wrexham) as well as 22 other acute and community hospitals, and a network of over 90 health centres, clinics, community health team bases and mental health units. It also coordinates the work of 121 GP practices and NHS services provided by North Wales dentists, opticians and pharmacies.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
