Three Clinical Research Fellow posts are available within the Institute for Cancer Sciences, University of Glasgow and the CRUK Beatson Institute.
They are 2 or 3 year posts depending on the source of funding.
The training fellowship is designed to provide state-of-the-art research experience, within a structured training environment, for future academic clinicians and appointees will be expected to develop a programme of research in an area of cancer research that has potential to contribute to our knowledge in way which may result in improved outcomes for patients. CRF posts allow the development of a research project leading to the submission of an MD or PhD degree. Although research will form the major component of this post, participation in associated clinical duties and teaching may be incorporated into the Job Plan.
