Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Cardiovascular Science Grade 8/9
The Institute is looking to appoint an individual with a track record in cardiovascular medicine or sciences and experience in providing underpinning research programmes to support clinical research. You should have experience of working alongside clinical academics.
You should have a high quality, relevant publication record and evidence in attracting substantial grant funding. You should have a PhD in a discipline relevant to the cardiovascular sciences, a track record of successful supervision of Postgraduate students and of developing and leading on undergraduate education to medical students.
You will be expected to develop an appropriate research programme in cardiovascular sciences that complements on-going and developing areas of research interest for the Institute and leads to patient benefit.
