Consultant in Acute Medicine

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Acute Medicine at Warwick Hospital.

We are committed to delivering high-quality acute care to patients with emergency medical conditions. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with enthusiasm, motivation, innovation, and first-class leadership skills to be part of our future Ambulatory Care initiatives and the development of a fit-for-purpose new acute medical floor.

Our dynamic team of Acute Physicians provides daytime and evening cover, 7 days a week, to the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Acute Decisions Unit (ADU), Ambulatory Emergency Care (AEC) and the Emergency Department (ED). There is currently no overnight on-call commitment attached to this post.

Applications will be considered from Consultants (and those within 6 months of CCT) with a CCT in Acute and/or General Internal Medicine. Sessions in other specialities and educational roles (via Warwick Medical School) may be considered on an individual basis.
