Clinical Lecturer (Scholarship)
We are seeking to appoint a Clinical Lecturer full time or part time Lecturers to join a team responsible for the development, delivery and assessment of the Clinical Method education for medical students at the University of Aberdeen. You will be based in the busy Clinical Skills Centre which is part of the Suttie Centre for Teaching and Learning in Healthcare, on the Foresterhill site.
The post is part of an expanding team of clinical staff who support the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate clinical education in both the simulated environment, in the Clinical Skills Centre and other teaching facilities, as well as in the clinical environments.
You will join a multiprofessional team of experienced staff all of whom are responsible for the development and delivery of innovative and high-quality learning experiences for healthcare students.
Applications are invited from individuals from any clinical discipline, who are fully registered healthcare practitioners and who have recent experience in clinical teaching and an up-to-date knowledge of education for medical practice. The post would be suitable for applicants who wished to focus on medical education but also wished to have the opportunity to maintain or develop separate clinical commitments.
