Full Time Specialty Doctor in Older Adults

This is a Specialty Doctor post in Older Adult Psychiatry providing services to East/South East Lincolnshire coast (Boston and Spalding part of Stamford). The appointee will work with a full-time consultant in Older Adult Psychiatry within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The post is based at Johnson Community Hospital, Spalding, which is the hub of the community mental health team covering the southwest area of Lincolnshire.

The post provides good opportunities for professional development in Old Age Psychiatry and Geriatric Medicine and offers the chance to broaden knowledge and learn new clinical skills. There is a weekly (Thursday mornings during term) in house postgraduate programme available to all Trust doctors at which the post-holder will be expected to attend.
