Medway NHS Foundation Trust is unique – undergoing transformational changes within the organisation that provides an extensive range of clinical services to a diverse population of approximately 400,000 across Medway and Swale. We are looking for a Consultant Neurologist who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

Consultant in Neurology

This is a post to support the expansion of the Neurology service to the residents of the Medway Towns and Swale. The post is based at Medway Hospital. We are looking for innovative and inspirational future leaders for this post who will drive the department forward. Whether you are an established clinician with past experience in managing Neurology Services or someone embarking on the first steps of a consultant career in Neurology, we would be delighted to hear from you. We need Neurologists who can build on our services and allow specialisation and enhance the inpatient support. In addition to outpatient clinics, the post holder will be encouraged to develop inpatient and specialist Neurology services. The Neurology services are housed in a purpose built Neuroscience Centre. The Neurology consultants provide valuable neurological opinion to general medical colleagues for inpatients. Specialist nurses and a specialist registrar form part of the department with a visiting neurophysiologist.
