Why Lincolnshire?

Lincolnshire is steeped with history and brimming with life. Each year thousands of people choose to come to Lincolnshire, primarily for the quality of life it has to offer. There is a real mix of a thriving urban city, bustling historic market towns, idyllic villages, miles of unspoilt coastline and areas of natural beauty - a great place to live and work.

What we are about

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is an award-winning mental health and learning disability organisation rated Good by the CQC, with our CAMHS service rated as Outstanding. We offer high quality of care while maintaining a sound financial position thanks to our foundation trust status.

We are recognised as one of the best mental health trusts to work for (HSJ Top 120, 2015) and the best place to train by our trainees in the East Midlands Region (Annual GMC survey 2015 and 2016).

We have been awarded regionally/nationally for our work on equality and diversity, patient safety and community partnerships. Enhancing innovation, research and clinical effectiveness is a key area for development and we are particularly seeking individuals who can lead in the delivery of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) research and who can work proactively to provide safe and effective facilitation to support a wide range of national studies, ensuring that staff and patients have every opportunity to participate – giving local people a national voice.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic Consultant to join our organisation to work in a substantive position of Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for the inpatient unit.

The post holder will provide clinical leadership for Ash Villa with a focus on complex case management.

Ash Villa is a 13 bedded unit and provides seven day tertiary (Tier 4) services for young people between their 12th and 18th birthday. Ash Villa is part of NHS England’s specialist provision and therefore accepts referrals from across the region but mainly from Lincolnshire.
