Clinical Consultant - £76,761 - £103,490 per annum plus £2,162 London Weighting Allowance per annum
This post will be based on a full time, indefinite position.
We are seeking to appoint a Clinical Senior Lecturer, Reader, or Professor/Honorary Consultant to lead on ensuring the effective delivery of neuroscience education within the MBBS2020 curriculum. Teaching will account for approximately 60% of the activity of the post, combined with 40% clinical workload.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional medical educator who shares our ambition to make KCL one of the world’s leading centres for the delivery of medical education in the field of neuroscience.
They will have a have a proven track record of managing the delivery of medical education within the field of Neuroscience; a willingness to develop and innovate in teaching and assessment methods; and enthusiasm for engaging with educators across King’s College London and its partner NHS Trusts to maintain and develop King’s national excellence and leading reputation.
The post holder will be able to engage fully in the academic life of the Institute and King’s, whilst the role is primarily education focused, the role holder will have opportunity to participate in research activity, and it is expected that all staff share the Institute’s commitment to developing and promoting research enhanced education.
The selection process will include a panel interview. Applicants may also be required to give a presentation.
Interviews are scheduled to be held in early-mid November.
