We are looking for dynamic, forward thinking individuals to join our award winning hospital as we embark on a new journey of transforming our services.
We are now recruiting to a range of different roles and if you’ve got a background in Neurology, Acute Medicine, Care of the Elderly or Stroke and/ or are interested in developing a specialist role in Stroke medicine, then we would be very keen to hear from you.
Located just 35 minutes from London Waterloo and 25 minutes by car from South West London, we are closer to London than most people think. We are an exciting, friendly place to work with a “can do” approach to running a hospital. We were rated “Good” in our last CQC inspection, featured in the CHKS Top 40 hospital for consecutive years and were one of the few hospitals in the country to achieve financial surplus in 2016-17. We have won awards for our innovative approaches to staff engagement and improvement and were finalists in the 2016 national WOW! Awards.
Our thriving Neurology Department provides general and specialist outpatient clinics (MS, PD & Movement Disorders, Headache) in addition to in reach service to inpatient wards. We have strong links with St Georges Hospital which includes admission rights.
It is an exciting time to join our Stroke Service as we redesign our whole stroke pathway to join up acute and community services. The Trust has a co-located HASU / ASU stroke unit rated SSNAP A, and following the Surrey Stroke Review will shortly be expanding the unit. Our speciality lead, Dr Giosue Gulli is supported by a strong cohesive consultant, nursing and therapy team.
Our award winning Care of the Elderly Department provides both inpatient and outpatient services and works closely with community locality hubs.
Our dynamic Acute Medical Unit based at St Peter’s comprises of a 38 bedded unit and a large ambulatory care area for the early assessment, diagnosis and treatment for acute medical patients admitted to the hospital.
