We are looking to recruit a Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellow for a period of 6 -12 months commencing in November 2017 based at Bristol Eye Hospital.
The post is available for those with either a background in Medical Ophthalmology, Surgical Ophthalmology or Neurology. It will provide advanced sub speciality training in Neuro-ophthalmology
The Bristol Eye Hospital has a strong tradition of clinical, health service, epidemiological and basic science research with links to the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.
The Fellowship will include a commitment to one or two research projects during the appointment. The post is suitable for an Ophthalmologist or Neurologist, with the flexibility for a surgically trained ophthalmologist to take on additional theatre lists to maintain their skills in cataract surgery or further
their expertise in strabismus surgery, should this best fit with the interests of the post-holder.
Applicants should already have CCST or be entering into their 5th year.
Overseas applicants would normally be at the end of their local training scheme.
