Applications are invited for Consultants in Anaesthesia. These new appointments affords an exciting opportunity to join a busy, innovative, developing and expanding anaesthetic department.
St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the leading acute Trusts in the North West of England providing a wide range of acute services to our local population of 350,000 and we provide tertiary burns and plastic surgical services across a wider area of the North West, North Wales and Isle of Man. We are the Mersey Regional Burns Unit. The anaesthetic team currently has 40 consultants, supported by an associate specialist, 4 specialty grade doctors, and 15 specialist trainees.

The posts are full time appointments (10.0 PAs) with 8.0 PAs of Direct Clinical Care, 1.5 PAs of which are out-of-hours, and 2.0 for Supporting Professional Activity.

Successful applicants must have full GMC registration and be on the specialty register or be within 6 months of receiving their CCT from date of interview .
