Salary up to £95K dependent upon experience per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours). Up to 20% bonus based on occupancy/patient contact rate and shift pattern worked.

The Urgent Care General Practitioner (GP) role will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patient’s requirements including minor injuries, illness and fractures. Our Urgent Care Centres open 7 days a week, early morning till mid-night.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides long day cover, 365 days per year to patients and immediate life support to any patient visitor of staff member as required. The unit is open for 16 hours per day.
The successful candidate will assist in the management of patients and to provide treatment and initial treatment before seeking the support of specialty consultants.

This post is subject to annual appraisal to underpin and facilitate the 5 year cycle of revalidation.

A full time contract will be 40 hours per week. Part time applicants are also very welcome, ideally we are looking for candidates who can commit to at least 20 hours a week to suit their lifestyles or other commitments.

• MRCGP or equivalent medical qualification
• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• GMC registration and licensed to practice
• Advanced Life Support provider
• Post graduate experience to include Accident + Emergency or Urgent Care.
