Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist – North West England – Long term - 12 months
RIG Locums are currently working closely with Gastroenterology departments across the UK requiring Locum Consultant Gastroenterologists.
This excellent NHS Trust is based in a very attractive location in England.
The area is notable for several tourist sites. The hospital is based just one hour from an international airport and a 5 minute walk to a national train station.
This vacancy is ideally a full time role.
The Trust are willing to secure a contract for up to 12 months for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be expected to integrate within the team of Gastroenterology Consultants in order to provide a comprehensive service.
Specific duties and responsibilities of the post include;
Full precipitation on ward rounds for inpatients
Responsible for outpatient clinics
Participation in Endoscopy sessions
Team working and leadership in Gastroenterology
Relevant participation in management
Engagement in training and teaching
Providing care of patients referred by general practitioners
Developing and enhancing the Trust profile in Gastroenterology
Providing appropriate advice on Gastroenterology to colleagues
On Calls and weekend work available if interested
