As two of 18 Consultants across Bristol and South Gloucestershire, the successful applicants will join the South Gloucestershire team of 6 Consultants based at Kingswood Hub (6.0 PA) and the East-Central Bristol Team of 4 consultants based at Eastgate House (6.5 PA).

The strength of our partnership is that together we have huge experience of providing large scale children’s services; working with families and communities to ensure a joined up approach, and working locally with strong connections and relationships with a wide range of commissioners and other provider organisations, which gives us a strong foundation on which to build further.

Applicants are required to be on the Specialist Register with CCT in General Paediatrics and subspecialty for Community Paediatrics or Neurodisability (see person specification) or be within six months of obtaining it by the interview date. Full Registration with the GMC is essential. The Organisation has teaching status and is linked with the University of Bristol and UWE.

The appointee will be required to reside not more than 30 minutes travel by road from Bristol, for on-call purposes. Experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent is essential.
