Exciting Opportunities for Psychiatrists in Yorkshire and the North East Consultants, SAS and Trust doctors
Come and meet us at the BMJ Careers Fair at Stand 40
(20th/21st October, London)
We’re attending this year’s Career Fair and will have a panel of experienced medical colleagues to discuss a range of opportunities and outline what it’s like to work in one of the best mental health trusts in the country!
At the careers fair we can informally chat and discuss options, arrange a visit to the Trust over the autumn to see firsthand our award winning units, or even arrange an interview on the day for an initial locum opportunity.
Our programme provides colleagues with excellent experience of working in a psychiatric environment before applying for core training. The programme develops physical health, leadership and clinical skills geared towards achieving reasonable foundation level competencies, supporting specialised training in the UK and are supported by tutors. Protected time exists for training and you will benefit from the vast experience of our faculty, having been rated 6th in the whole country across all trusts by our junior doctors in the 2017 GMC survey. A relocation package is also available.
Our new, innovative programme provides the very best opportunity to achieve Article 14. The programme includes £10k relocation package, guaranteed acting up consultant opportunities, attendance at bimonthly SAS development programme, 2PA s protected SPA time and a place on our six day modular programme in leadership and management. At the event you can hear first-hand from a doctor on our programme in an acting up position who commutes from London each week.
A range of opportunities exist across different specialties in the Trust. Our Deputy Medical Director will be available to discuss them, our relocation package, local agreements for pay and reward, education and research opportunities and options for flexible and attractive job planning.
See you at the BMJ Careers Fair
