An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Consultant Haematologist to join an established team of 8 Consultants who provide a full range of diagnostic and clinical haematology services.
This includes clinical (attending) duties to BCSH Level 3 care at the Regional Cancer Centre based at Cheltenham General Hospital (CGH) on a rotational basis, though the post will also include duties at both Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
The Consultant team is supported by 2 SpRs, 1 ST1/2, 1 FY1, 1 Transfusion Practitioner and 5 Specialist Nurses. Recruitment is underway for 3 additional middle grade staff to augment the team. The post is available at 10 PAs per week including on-call commitments shared with the other 8 consultant colleagues on the rota.
