Substantive Speciality doctors (Two posts) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital
£8,000 relocation package available
Applications are invited for the post of two Speciality doctors within Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital in Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. These posts are expected to start as soon as possible and are suitable for candidates wishing to pursue a career in obstetrics and gynaecology. Full GMC registration and license to practice is an essential requirement for this post.
Applicants must have completed at least 2 years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time of flexible basis) in a specialty training programme or as a fixed term speciality trainee in obstetrics & gynaecology as second on call; or shall have equivalent experiences and competences as expected of a Speciality doctor in the U.K clinical practice. Although these are non training posts there will be opportunities to learn new skills, undertake RCOG’s advanced training modules or develop and maintain existing special interests.
The post-holder will share middle grade rota as second on call in a full shift system.
