Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow In Regional Anaesthesia
This post is available from February 2018 and is shared between the Anaesthetics Department in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Anatomy Department of The University of Aberdeen. The post is available for one year and offers training in Regional Anaesthesia at the advanced level of the Royal College of Anaesthetist’s CCT Curriculum.
You will play a key role in the design, development, delivery and as-sessment of undergraduate teaching of Anatomy and clinical skills generally and in your own specialty. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in the organisation and management of undergraduate medical student examinations and other activities based in the University.
Clinical work is mostly based in Woodend Hospital, where elective Orthopaedic surgery is based, as well as in Aberdeen Royal infirmary. Participation in the trainee out of hours rota is expected, although this is adjusted to maximise opportunities for research and teaching.
