The Psychiatric Imaging Group aims to advance understanding of the neurobiology of major mental illnesses and develop new treatments. We use PET and MRI imaging and other techniques to conduct translational studies in patients. The new combined PET-MR scanner provides a fantastic opportunity to develop methods to integrate and analyse simultaneous PET and MR data.
Applicants should be medically qualified and have an interest in psychiatric research in psychotic disorders. Registration with the GMC is essential. Start Date is flexible to fit in with clinical training/rotations.
Full Time, Fixed Term for 3 years
This is an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in psychosis research. The post is suitable for trainees with an interest in psychiatry/neuroscience/ imaging, and offers the potential for an MD/PhD depending on eligibility and progress.
