We are looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to deliver best practice in evidence based care, both in community and prison settings. You will provide clinical input and leadership, offering expert advice and consultation, working alongside primary care and other addictions services, to the prisons in the North East area.

You will work in collaboration to provide assessment and develop treatment strategies for those with complex needs and be jointly responsible with primary care for clinical governance.  You will join a large addictions team providing community services.  Our addictions teams are actively involved in research and have a close relationship with Newcastle University. You will be expected and encouraged to support research, teaching and training.
