Position Profile: The Plastic Surgery Department is currently seeking a suitably qualified Fellow in Plastic Surgery to undertake inpatient and outpatient plastic surgery care including Telehealth service. Applicants are required to have completion of plastic surgery training to a level that is comparable to Australian plastic surgery training as the Fellow will need to do a significant amount of operating with minimal supervision. Approximately 8-10 years post grad experience and a post graduate plastic surgery qualification comparable to Australian FRACS is essential. In this role you will be required to provide an on-call service, educate and train all multidisciplinary staff involved in care of any patient, which will be an important aspect of this role. You will undertake hand surgery, facial surgery, microvascular reconstructive surgery, elective breast surgery, head and neck reconstructive surgery and skin cancer surgery.
