Consultant in General Adult CMHTs
Luton Mental Health and Wellbeing Service
We are a financially stable and progressive mental health and
community services trust with very strong clinical leadership at all
levels of the organisation.
The trust has a focus on improving the experience of patients, carers
and our staff. For the last two years we have been developing a
special quality improvement programme that provides our clinical
staff, patients and carers with skills to transform our services. We
believe that our staff are the organisation’s greatest asset and are the
best agents for change.
We were graded as Outstanding by the CQC in September 2016 and
as Provider of the Year 2016, as well as being rated as the best place
to work in mental health by the Health Service. In 2015 we acquired
mental health services in Luton and Bedfordshire.
Consultant in General Adult CMHTs - Brantwood Community Mental Health Team
The CMHTs have benefitted from extra investment this year and in the
previous year in the Primary Care Liaison Services. The CMHTs are well
staffed, and the investment enabled a better quality of care and better
support from primary care liaison services.
There is currently service development work undertaken to create a
more robust primary care liaison service, and the successful candidates
will have the opportunity to apply to be the primary care lead; You’ll
also have the opportunity transfer into the primary care team once it is
established. Candidates who are successful and are suitably qualified
and experienced will be able to apply for the Associate Clinical
Director (Community) role, which has an additional PA.
