With a state of the art twenty bedded inpatient unit that opened in May 2017, this is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic team providing specialist palliative care both within the hospice and across the community. 

We are looking to recruit a full time (10 PAs) Consultant in Palliative Medicine, part-time/job share may be considered. This is a permanent post made available following re-structuring in the team. The post is predominantly inpatient based, with 3 PAs based in the community to support the CNS team and the wider community of health and care professionals working in the primary care setting. As part of this role there will be significant opportunities for shaping and delivery of Specialist Palliative Care outpatient services.

Located in NW Surrey, Woking and Sam Beare Hospices provide inpatient and community based specialist palliative care for a population of approximately 360,000 and the appointee would be joining a team of 3 consultants, two specialty doctors and trainee (ST3-6).
