ARE YOU A NEWLY QUALIFIED GP WITH ASPIRATIONS?
OR A GP WITH AN INTEREST IN TRAINING AND EDUCATION?
WE HAVE AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY AT OUR OUTSTANDING PRACTICE
www.aylmerlodgecookleypartnership.co.uk

We are looking for a Part time Salaried GP to come and join our happy team of 9 GPs.

Working 4-6 sessions are ideal but we are flexible if you have other plans. A particular interest in education would be welcome to help support our flourishing commitment to medical students, registrars and physician assistants. If you are newly qualified we are an excellent practice to come too as we will give you the opportunity to flourish.

We have 2 sites in our organisation. One is a bespoke, new build facility at Hume Street in the heart of Kidderminster. The other is at Cookley which is a small, semi-rural village just north of Kidderminster. We provide care for just over 14,000 patients and use EMIS web software. There are opportunities at both sites.

We have a range of other skills including an ‘in house ENT service’, GPwSI in dermatology and musculoskeletal medicine. If you have an interest in family planning and would like further qualification in this area, one of our GPs is a faculty registered trainer. We provide onsite anticoagulation services and use near patient testing for both INR and DDimer assays as needed. We cover an array of minor operation needs using our purpose built facility. The building hosts delivery of a primary care vasectomy service and we have onsite physiotherapy and pharmacy services.

We hope to offer further clinical services in practice either through skills of an established GP or by encouraging and nurturing the candidate GP to develop an area of interest that would benefit the practice. We are forward thinking, embrace innovation and welcome input from all members of the team.

We recognise and value the commitments of GPs both at work and home and hope we can ensure a healthy balance and accommodate the needs of the individual. We all enjoy a joke whilst taking pride in the high quality service we offer and wish to keep ourselves happy and healthy. Come and be part of our inclusive practice.

How to Apply
