Career Start Programme
We offer a package combining general practice with special interests tailored to your career path. Along with a day per week for education and professional development over two years, there are opportunities to gain a teaching qualification from Newcastle University. At least 2 days will be spent in practice, with 1-2 days in an acute or mental health setting. Applicants must have qualified within the last two years and not be working as a Salaried GP/Partner in the North East.
Living and working in South Tees
Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland sit amongst the Cleveland Hills, next to the North Yorkshire Moors. High quality housing can be obtained at reasonable prices. Whether in an urban or village setting, you’re never far from the town, hills or coastline. There are plenty of great restaurants and theatres, with live comedy and music nearby too. We have a supportive clinical community where primary and secondary care colleagues get together socially and professionally.
Working the way you want
Our practices support individuality and special interests. We have surgeries operating in different ways meaning that you can find the practice that’s right for you
